Restricted Chase County Court Records

Expungement is petition-based in Kansas. K.S.A. 21-6614 allows qualifying people to petition the court for expungement of certain convictions, arrest records, and diversion agreements after required waiting periods and conditions. If an order is granted, the record is not destroyed for every purpose. Public access is limited, while certain agencies may still see it for specified legal uses.
Note: A public docket can exist even when a document, identifier, or attachment is restricted from public view.
