Why We Built This Site
Kansas gives the public broad access to many records, but Chase County records are not all held by one counter. District court case files are handled by the Clerk of the District Court at the Chase County Courthouse in Cottonwood Falls. County administrative records and the local Kansas Open Records Act form route through the County Clerk. Sheriff, jail, civil service, and warrant questions start with Sheriff/911 at 301 S. Walnut. Marriage certificates and divorce certificates may involve KDHE, while full divorce files remain court records.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Chase County, the Kansas Judicial Branch, the Chase County District Court, the Sheriff's Office, KDHE, or any state or federal agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Kansas case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed here is current right now
Only the issuing Kansas court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site available. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
